A female genital surgical procedure to tighten vaginal muscles

Women who have experienced various pregnancies, tend to evidence debilitated and maybe even atrophyated vaginal muscles. Vaginal walls, pubis and vaginal labia lose smoothness and volume. Sometimes, even the smaller lips or labia minora can enlarge excessively. This often causes esthetic unconformity and it may even annoy sexual relations.

Vaginal surgery is designed to correct this problem. It consists on reducing the size of the smaller lips, eliminates the excess tissue and in some cases the correction of the vaginal conduct is required.

This is an out patient procedure performed under local anesthesia. Recovery time average is of seven to ten days.
